Weyerhaeuser Company uses the Electric Maze in both their corporate Leadership Institute and for programs conducted by individual business units.

Dr. Richard Kimball, of Action Learning Associates, worked with The Weyerhaeuser Leadership Institute to utilize a case method approach to explore four demands of leadership: Setting and Communicating Direction; Aligning Critical Constituencies; Living and Maintaining Values; and Growth of Self and Others. Dr. Kimball states "while it is useful to explore these demands through case studies and skillfully facilitated Socratic dialogue, we find that it is even more powerful when the case study is complemented by a carefully constructed experience that highlights a key dimension of each demand. We use an Electric Maze exercise to highlight the power of clear direction setting."
